Chicken and potatoes!!!

good afternoon to everyone and welcome
to my channel today we are going to be
making chicken penne with potatoes and
red sauce ali's favorite dish so for
this dish you are going to need pepper
onions salt garlic powder and also you
will need lemon you can use fresh or
lemon in the bottle either way it's
totally the same and you're going to
also need chicken breasts I'm using
three chicken breasts and I will filet
them down very thinly and then I'm also
going to be taking the onions I will cut
the onions up and I use three onions
total and you're going to put them into
the food processor and you will process
them down to a fine juice

now here you're going to want to empty
out the onion fine juiced into a bowl be
careful don't cut your fingers and make
sure you get the blade out of the bowl
and then you're gonna want to take all
of your ingredients that I had mentioned
which was the pepper salt lemon juice
garlic powder and you're also going to
want to add a couple squirts of mustard
I forgot to put that part in on my video
but it is added into the ingredients and
that will also enhance the flavor and it
will make it kind of like a yellow color
to it but it really makes the chicken
taste so good

now you're going to want to take your
three chicken breasts and you're going
to want to filet them as thinly as you
can but that they're not so thin they're
paper-thin and you can usually get
anywhere from two to three filets out of
one breast
you
so after you're done filleting the
chicken you're going to add it into the
bowl with your onion seasonings and the
Jews the lemon juice you're going to mix
it really really well I use my hands but
you could also use a spoon spatula
whatever to mix it around the biggest
thing is you want to make sure that each
and every piece of chicken has the
seasonings to marinate perfectly
once I've mixed it all inside the bowl
I'm going to take a separate container
that also will have a lid and I dump it
into this container just to make sure
that I get all of the marinating out of
the bowl and into the separate container
I'm going to put the lid on the
container and I will put it into the
frigerator and let it sit for a minimum
of three hours it's best to even let it
sit overnight for 24 hours the flavor
just enhances so much and it tastes so
good and now it's time to do a little
bit of cleanup from just making the
marinating sauce for the chicken so I'm
just gonna wash these dishes it makes it
easier for cleanup after dinner I'm not
having to stand and do so many dishes so
it's nice and plus I have to use some of
these bowls to make the rest of the
dinner

now we're going to start with the
potatoes and red sauce you're going to
need onions you'll also need some olive
oil black pepper garlic powder and or
you can use regular real garlic it's up
to you you will also need to use a bell
pepper I'm using just a half of what I
had left tomato paste salt chicken b1
babe you on I don't know how to say it
chicken chicken flavor broth tomatoes
red potatoes is my choice but you can
use any type of potato that you want
you're also going to need some sugar and
last but not least you will also need to
use a little bit of cumin
dice up your onions and also your bell
pepper too I want to say I keep my
onions kind of on a thicker side you
don't really want your onions to turn to
mush so I keep them out of like a thin
slice but still a thicker slice so that
as they're cooking
they don't mush down to basically
nothing and same with your bell pepper
you just slice them but you don't have
to slice them so thinly that they become
like a mush

now we're going to start adding in our
spices so there's not really a specific
measurement I just kind of measure to my
taste so there I'm adding my sugar my
cumin
I have little helpers on the side if you
can see their hands coming in and out
some garlic powder
my black pepper
and also you're gonna add in your cumin
I'm opting to not put salt in it because
also I'm adding the chicken broth and
chicken broth carries a lot of sodium so
I really didn't want my dinner to have
more sodium than needed so I chose to
not put the salt in and just have the
actual chicken broth and the way that I
make my chicken broth is I just add hot
water with the chicken broth and mix it

here I'm just taking my potatoes and
going to skin them because all he does
not like potato skin so I am going to
skin mine you don't have to if you don't
want to but in this case I'm going to so
I'm just going to peel these and then I
will dice them up as well into circles

after they are all pilled I will make
sure to rinse each and every one of them
and get all the dirt off of them because
you just don't want to feed your husband
dirt
you
here you're going to want to take your
Tomatoes after you've cut them up add
your tomato paste and you're going to
put a little bit of water into the
blender and blend it up into like a fine
tomato sauce
you
once you have all of your potatoes diced
up the way that you like them you're
going to want to layer them down around
the pan and make sure that they're as
flat as possible so that they each get
even amount of heat
you
now you're going to want to add your
onion and bell pepper seasoning topping
all evenly around your potatoes so that
they'll all get the amount of heat that
they need to cook
add your
mate Oh juice that you created in the
blender all around again make sure that
you're getting it evenly around the
entire pan you don't want any of your
vegetables to be dried out so kind of
move stuff around a little bit and make
sure that you're getting down on the
bottom as well as up on top and on the
sides of the pan here you're going to
take your olive oil spread it around
have your oven preheating to 450 and
cook this for about two hours and it
will be done here we're going to start
getting ready to fry our chicken you're
going to want to take some type of a
seasoned breadcrumb some flour and also
your chicken
you're going to take one cup of your
breadcrumbs or maybe a little bit less
than one cup I choose to do one cup and
you're also going to evenly do another
cup of flour and you will mix it
together and that will create the
coating for your chicken

Here I am sitting down my back was
absolutely throbbing by this point so
I'm going to be dipping my chicken into
the breadcrumb and flour and getting it
ready to lay in the oil that is on the
side that you see once you can already
frying and that is it easy peasy
not a hard dinner but it tastes so good
